North Captiva Conservation Festival
Sunday, January 25 | Noon–4:00 PM
The North Captiva Conservation & Beautification Foundation is excited to announce the launch of what we hope will become a beloved island tradition: the first annual North Captiva Conservation Festival. Our goal is to host this event every January, bringing the community together to celebrate conservation, connection, and the unique spirit of North Captiva.
This year’s festival will take place on Sunday, January 25, from noon to 4:00 PM on the Rum Road lot across from the Island Club entrance. We extend a sincere thank-you to Steve Ward for generously allowing us to use his property for the festival.
The Conservation Festival is designed to be a fun, welcoming afternoon that brings residents, homeowners, and visitors together while highlighting the conservation efforts that help protect the natural beauty of our island.
A Community-Focused Conservation Celebration
We’re thrilled to be joined by a wonderful group of conservation organizations, local businesses, and island vendors who will be sharing information, activities, and giveaways throughout the afternoon, including:
· Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation – Wildlife Habitat Management Group
· North Captiva Bird Brains
· Vanage Homes
· North Cap Massage
· Upper Captiva Fire and Rescue District
· Shoreline Property Company
Each organization will offer a mix of educational information, interactive elements, fun games, and giveaways — making it easy to learn something new while enjoying the afternoon.
Music, Fun, and Island Spirit
Local favorite Madison Morris will be providing live music throughout the event, helping set the relaxed island vibe for the day.

North Captiva Conservation will also be hosting a dunking booth, where you’ll have the chance to dunk some of your favorite island personalities — all in good fun and for a great cause.
Feeling brave? Volunteer to be a “dunkee”! Sign up for a time slot, help raise awareness and support conservation efforts, and enjoy a few well-earned splashes along the way.
Snacks will be available, and there will be activities and entertainment for all ages throughout the event.
Join Us
The North Captiva Conservation Festival is about community, education, and connection — celebrating the people and organizations working to preserve what makes North Captiva so special.
Whether you’re a full-time resident, part-time homeowner, or visiting the island, we hope you’ll join us for an afternoon of conservation-focused learning, live music, and island camaraderie.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, January 25.
